I will take details to find out about you and why you have come for lessons and what you want from this work.

We will then explore some work together with simple everyday movements to encourage a new awareness and new ways of moving and thinking. We will do this with talking, questioning and use of gentle touch on to encourage new ways of thinking.

Alexander Technique touch is an amazing thing. Alexander pupils often yearn for the quality of touch of an Alexander Technique teacher. Coming from a 3 year full time training it requires complete presence and embodiment. It can therefore bring a fantastic sense of relaxation, presence and allow the nervous system to come to calm and quiet allowing the whole bodymind to reset.

Think of it like a massage without the kneading. The quality of touch is like the gentle, yet definite and clear. You will be fully clothed. Just wear something comfortable.

Perfect if you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed and in need of some time out. No experience of The Alexander Technique is needed.

No need to rush off at the end. You can take your time to adjust with tea, snacks and a cosy blanket on offer.

Note: These sessions are not The Alexander Technique and are not teaching you The Alexander Technique. They are using the amazing touch that is learnt by Alexander teachers to offer you relaxation and time out from the stresses of life.
